A Biblioteca da Meia-Noite

“Between life and death there is a library.”

Nora feels like she failed at everything. Seeing her regret every small choice made me look at my own life differently.

“If you aim to be something you are not, you will always fail.”

The version of Nora who became a rockstar was still miserable. Success doesn't fix a broken heart.

“You don't have to understand life. You just have to live it.”

Mrs. Elm is the kind of guide we all need. She doesn't give answers. She just hands Nora the books.

The sadness Nora felt about her cat Volts was so heavy. It shows how guilt can trap us in the past.
