About the book

Over the course of one night, Quentin helps his lifelong crush, Margo Roth Spiegelman, with a series of pranks against everyone who wronged her. She vanishes soon after, leaving a trail of hints that only he seems to understand. With his friends, he follows the path through abandoned strip malls, a minivan trip across the East Coast and a fictional town on the map called Agloe, New York. Along the way, he comes to see that he has been in love with an image rather than with a person.

It suits teenagers and adults who like contemporary YA with a bit of mystery. It is funny and sweet, and it offers a useful reminder that nobody is as simple as they look from the outside.
