Die Frau des Zeitreisenden (Taschenbuch)

Clare Abshire first meets Henry DeTamble as a child in a meadow, where he appears from the future. Years later, she meets him as a young librarian in Chicago, and he has no idea who she is. Henry has Chrono-Displacement Disorder, so he is pulled out of the present at random and lands naked in other times. Their marriage is shaped by his disappearances, the dangers of his traveling, and Clare's repeated miscarriages, as the narrative moves back and forth in time.

For readers who like romance with a science-fiction idea at its core. It presents a patient, bittersweet look at devotion under unusual conditions.

Inward-looking; a moderate read.

Best for readers like The Empathetic Explorer. Which reader are you?
