The Hallmarked Man (Cormoran Strike, #8)

“I love you. I’ve loved you for years.”

Robin and Strike are finally admitting they love each other. Watching them navigate that while trapped in a tiny car in Sark felt so intimate.

Strike finally dealing with his feelings for Charlotte feels like a massive weight lifting. He had to stop running from her ghost to actually move forward.

The way they handled the freemasonry mystery was wild. It shows how much people just want to feel part of a secret club.

“The darkness here is absolute.”

Sark feels like a character itself. The lack of cars and the pitch black nights made the danger feel so much closer.
