About the book

The novel is presented as an oral history of Daisy Jones & The Six, a rock band that rose to fame in the 1970s Los Angeles scene and broke up at its peak. Daisy is a gifted, reckless singer-songwriter, and Billy Dunne is the troubled frontman of The Six, who is struggling with sobriety and his marriage to Camila. Their collaboration on the album Aurora creates both the band's biggest success and its bitterest tension. Interview fragments let each member tell the same events differently.

A good match for readers who love music and the 1970s. It delivers a lively story about creativity, addiction and the way a hit can cost the people who make it.
