আর রাহীকুল মাখতূম [Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum]

Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri's biography of the Prophet Muhammad, whose title means "The Sealed Nectar," won first prize in a 1979 competition organized by the Muslim World League. It presents the life of the Prophet in chronological order, beginning with the Arabian peninsula before Islam and the Prophet's birth, then his early years in Mecca, the first revelations, the migration to Medina, the major battles and treaties, and his final years and death. It draws on early Islamic sources and aims to be clear and accessible, with maps and explanations.

Readers who want a thorough introduction to the life of the Prophet will find a standard text widely read in the Muslim world.

Contemplative and clear-cut; a moderate read.
