About the book

Stanley Tucci, the actor, writes about food and his life through meals, from childhood in Westchester County, where his Italian American family cooked everything from scratch, to the tables of film sets and restaurants around the world. He talks about his mother's recipes and about his own cooking, and shares recipes for such dishes as timpano, which he made famous in the film Big Night. He also writes about the death of his first wife, Kate, and about his illness, which made it difficult to eat, and about meeting his current wife, Felicity. The book moves between memory and recipe.

It suits readers who like food memoirs and those who want a warm, funny account of an actor's life.
