About the book

When an Inhuman named Ulysses begins having visions of future disasters, Carol Danvers, now Captain Marvel, wants to use them to stop crimes before they happen. Tony Stark opposes the idea, and the heroes split into two camps. Brian Michael Bendis uses the divide to stage a conflict that costs several heroes their lives, including War Machine and, in a shocking scene, Bruce Banner. The event series is about prediction, free will, and the ethics of acting on what has not happened yet.

Marvel readers who followed the earlier Civil War will find a sequel with similar themes. It is best for those who know the cast.
