Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1
Neale Donald Walsch says that in 1992, in a moment of frustration, he wrote an angry letter to God, and found himself writing an answer. The book is a dialogue in which Walsch asks questions about life, love, money, sex, relationships and suffering, and God answers in a friendly voice. Among the claims are that God does not judge or punish, that we create our own reality, and that life is a process of remembering who we are. He covers fear and love as the two basic emotions.
Readers curious about contemporary spirituality outside traditional religion will find an accessible, conversational text. It is for those who like big questions put plainly, whether they end up agreeing or not.
Inward-looking; an easy read.
