This book serves those who want to see the gritty, less glamorous side of a magical society through the eyes of a professional troublemaker. It provides clarity on how minor magical factions interact and how individual choices influence the broader power dynamics of the series. The reader finishes the book with a firmer grasp of the world’s internal logic and the specific history of the rogue classes.
