Marvel's Civil War splits the superhero community over a law requiring heroes to register with the government. Brian Michael Bendis follows Luke Cage's team of New Avengers, who refuse to comply, and shows what it costs them to oppose Iron Man and the pro-registration side. This volume ties into the larger crossover event.
It suits readers who want the New Avengers side of Civil War, or who are working through Bendis's Avengers run. It makes the most sense for readers who already know the main Civil War story.
Practical, outward-looking, growth-minded, clear-cut and escapist; an easy read.
Best for readers like The Curious Generalist. Which reader are you?
