Florile pierdute ale lui Alice Hart

“Every flower had a meaning.”

Alice learns to speak through flowers because the house was too quiet. Sometimes silence needs a whole garden to finally break.

June hides secrets to protect her family. It ends up making the walls feel like a cage instead of a garden.

“The fire was a monster with a thousand orange tongues.”

Fire takes everything from Alice in the beginning. It haunts her until she learns that some things need to burn to grow back.

Native plants survive the harshest deserts. Alice realizes she is just like the Sturt’s Desert Pea. She can bloom in the dust.
