Houdini: Marea evadare (Anchetele lui Audrey Rose, #3)

“Nothing is ever as it seems, especially when magic is involved.”

Audrey Rose and Thomas on a cruise ship sounds dreamy. But the Moonlight Carnival feels more like a fever dream with all those hidden traps.

Watching Audrey Rose navigate her grief while solving murders is heavy. She tries so hard to keep her composure while her heart is breaking.

“I would find you in any lifetime.”

Thomas Cresswell is finally showing his vulnerable side. His arrogance usually hides it. Seeing him actually scared for Audrey Rose changes everything.

The illusions on the ship make you doubt every character. Even the performers who seem kind have sharp edges under their costumes.
