Mara (Romanian Edition)

“Muierea e tot muiere, iară mama e mamă.”

Mara counts her pennies every night in three different pots. She loves her kids but she loves her security just as much.

Persida and Natzl falling for each other feels like a train wreck you can't stop. Their love crosses every religious line in Radna and causes so much pain.

“Banii n-au miros, nici lege.”

Mara isn't just a mother. She is a powerhouse business woman in a world that didn't want her to be one.

Trică ends up joining the army just to find some dignity. Sometimes the only way to grow up is to leave home entirely.
