The Miracles of the Namiya General Store

“Most of the time, the person asking for advice has already made up their mind.”

Sometimes people ask for advice when they already know the answer. They just want someone to tell them it is okay to choose it.

“If the person who wrote the letter doesn’t want to be better, no advice will help.”

The shop owner treats every letter with the same gravity. Even a joke about a test score gets a thoughtful response.

Even a thief can have a change of heart. All it takes is feeling like someone finally expects something good from you.

“Your music will be remembered.”

Choices ripple out in ways we never see. A musician's sacrifice meant nothing to him but everything to a girl he saved.
