The Search Party

“The dream was always to leave the city behind.”

Max and Annie spent years chasing a perfect life in the country. It turns out that isolation just makes old secrets easier to hide.

Old friendships can feel like a heavy anchor. You stay loyal to people you don't even like anymore just because of the time spent.

“He was the sun they all orbited.”

Dominic makes everyone feel small while acting like he is the only adult. He uses his success to keep the others under his thumb.

“Nature doesn't care about your plans.”

The storm isn't just a backdrop for the plot. It forces everyone to stop pretending and finally look at what they've become.
