Henry Page is a high school senior, an editor of the school newspaper and a self-confessed neurotic. His life is changed when Grace Town, a quirky new girl with a limp, arrives and joins the paper. She wears boys' clothes and is mysterious about her past, and Henry falls hard for her. As he gets close, he learns that she has been through a tragedy and is still in pain. The story deals with love, grief and the messy aftermath of first loves, with a humorous voice.
For young adult readers who like contemporary romance with emotional depth, it provides both laughs and sadness.
